• Introduction

  JCSpell Word Study is an on-demand, online workshop. You are about to begin Session 12, one of sixteen sessions. If the course has not opened, click "Introduction" above.
  

  Session 12 gives you a look at the lessons after we have front-loaded phonograms and are applying the knowledge to sound out words through our "Think to Spell" routine. "Think to Spell" with spelling words becomes the heart of the daily lessons once phonogram frontloading has been accomplished.

  • Progress Reports

    The Progress Report becomes available at the end of each Session, when all videos have been viewed. Teachers fill it in and submit it. It is used by the system to track work and eventually give access to the course certificate.

    Reflect & Write
    

    Another activity that is included in some versions of the course is the Reflect & Write. This is submit directly to Alice Nine. She reads and responds to each R&W individually.

    Work Logs

    Onsite PD facilitators may request participant work logs throughout the course.

    Certificates

    Participants completing course requirements are eligible for a Certificate of Completion for 24 clock hours.
